What Is PB Smudges?
There’s something very exciting about being a wife and mother. There is never a dull moment; from peanut butter smudges on the tv to those fateful words “mommy I puked on the cat”, motherhood provides enough material to sustain 100 blogs…I just have one. And this is it, the view from my little smudgy corner of the world!
I try to observe and comment on the things I see and experience from my perspective and with a light-hearted flavour. I love to reach people with my writing and invoke an emotional response to my pieces. I’m happy to receive constructive feedback and comments, so please feel free to share your thoughts on anything I have posted. Enjoy!

I was wondering when you’d get back to posting stuff. Glad to see it!! Perspective is sometimes hard to see when we’re in our own little bubble. I take perspective home everyday when I finish with clients that have tremendous stories of resiliency and survival. How quickly that perspective leaves as my eldest screams at me:) And then there are times when my perspective is just completely skewed due to some past hurt or experience and it takes someone else to point out my misgivings… ouch. My goal is to do the least amount of harm possible to my kids and hope they can figure out the rest:)
